I have had the exciting opportunity to deliver the event photography for a game system called Warriors of Middle Earth, which was run by Know Your Role at the breathtaking Duncarron Medieval Village in Denny, Falkirk. When I got involved this was the first event of its kind, so the Know Your Role team needed a wealth of compelling visual media to promote future iterations. There was also a very high percentage of attendees who had never been to a LARP (Live Action Role Play) event before, so making sure everyone got a bit of the spotlight was amongst my highest priorities.

As a photographer this was a hugely satisfying job to deliver, with immersive surroundings and a really impressive standard of kit from the players and crew. Here are just a few of my favourite shots from the two events…
