My Precious Jewellery

My client for this project was an Independent Jeweller who got in touch at the early stages of launching her freelance business. The pitch? A nature-inspired design suite that neither implied too heavily the feminine connotations of jewellery, nor alienated its core consumers.

The challenge of balancing these contrasting objectives was a very fun one to deliver. To avoid making the design too overtly feminine, I incorporated more neutral colours and industrial textures. I also drew a more androgynous hand and selected a simple wedding band for the logo rather than something more ostentatious. The natural imagery helped to balance these elements, keeping the design looking delicate and “precious” as the name would suggest.
